Long story short. Daughters truck 1988 1 ton 7.3 idi was having starter troubles. I bough this starter off ebay Starter Ford E Series Vans 85 94 Ford F Seriespkp 85 94 | eBay
It is a Denso and it really makes this ole girl spin and start. Lot easier to install them the Mitsubishi. And as you can see it is reasonably priced

I bought one of these, the price was $62 tho. First thing I had to do was to fix an internal short, after that, it went right in and spins the motor noticeably faster than the factory (Mitsubishi) starter.
