Vin Decoder...?
I have a F250 Custom Cab, Camper Special (rough shape mechanically, but almost perfect body). However, i have no idea what year it is, lol, ive been trying to look at some of you all's pics, but cant find many different years. I know its between a 64 and a 68, but thats as close as i can get to it. Plus, i wanted to know what motor was in it too, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. The vin number is the same as the "model" number, right? If not, where exactly is the best place to look for the vin? Thanks, Stan

Stan:
The VIN number is on a tag located on the driver side door, generally under the catch for the striker plate. In your case, I believe it will start out F26******. Post the info and we will help out.

Hey, thanks Mike, i will hafta go and look at it again, i forgot to write it down yesterday, and its about 40 miles away, i appreciate it. Ill let you know when i get the number. Thanks. Stan
