Frame rust.

I'm looking at swapping beds and wonder what to do with the frame rust while I have the bed off. Should I grind off the rust and repaint or just treat the frame with something that will work (almost) as well?

thanks,
Stan

I would do it the right way and grind off the surface rust and paint or powdercoat it. Powdercoating will require you to take the cab off and take the frame to a shop. So that might be to much work and money. You can though use POR 15 and paint over the rust if you wanna go that route as well.
