What size External fuel pump

I am trying to determine what size External fuel pump I should use with a flathead and Holley 4160 carb. Just a quick look around and I am seeing quite a few options. What pressure should I use and what flow rate?

By external I shall assume you mean a pump that is not in a fuel tank . Holley states in its 4160 owners manual 5-7 psi if pump delivers more than 7 psi them a regulator shall be installed .
