As part of moving the fuel tank from the cab to the rear of the truck I'm also changing over to an electric fuel pump - but I have idea about the details.
How many psi does a carb require?
Do I need a pressure regulator between the fuel pump and the carb or one after the carb?
Are electric fuel pumps able to run against a closed bowl? Or do they need the regulator to allow fuel to flow.
I think the electric pumps today are self regulating. Once it has the system presurized, it will just maintain that preasure. Correct me if I'm wrong forum. Billemc
depends on what you buy..most standard pumps are self regulated and have pressure of 4-7 lbs...pumps used for racing have higher outputs 12-14 lbs and higher gallon per hour flow and higher prices..pumps like these require regulators
