1996 F150 Multi Function Switch

My hazards quit working along with my right turn signals. Sometimes my right turn signals would work but only the rear, no dash or front.

I bought a new multi function switch and installed it.

With the new switch my hazards work but no turn signals.

Just for the heck of it it put the old switch back in. I now have turn signals both directions but still no emergency flashers.

Help!

Search the internet for "steve83" AND "wiper" - he has some good info on this issue.

PS. I am on my cell so I can't find and post the link.

No luck with a search. I would appreciate a link or info from anyone else.

I messed around with this truck some more this morning as the seat came back from the upholstery guy last night and the truck needs to find a new home.

I still have no hazard lights with either the new or the old switch. My turn signals now work fine with either switch. I did swap out the bulbs on the right side. Perhaps that fixed my problem with the right turn signals. I also swapped out the flasher in the fuse panel with one from another working truck.

Any thoughts as to why I have no hazard lights would be appreciated!!

The flasher for the hazards (4ways) is on the back side of the fuse panel... The one you can see with the cover off is for the turn signals only!!!

How about that... Two flashers just like the old trucks. The one in this truck was missing it must have fallen out and rolled out the door. I pulled one out of my other 92 F250 and put it in this truck and shazam - Flashers that work!!

I imagine that if I had looked in the owners manual it would have been there.

Thanks again!!
