Accelerator cable loose
I don't know much about cars at all
but I am ready and eager to learn
.Just a quick question, I have the Explorer 92 of my girlfriend that doesn't start at all.
It rotates, but doesn't crank.
I looks like the accelerator cable is completly loose (maybe even disconnected) , If the cable is disconnected, should the engine crank at all ?
I know that it seems dumb, but I have to learn everything about cars.
I am thinking right now that the accelerator cable is directly connected to the fuel injected, and so if the cable is disconnected, no fuel at all is injected, which cause the engine not to crank.
Please let me know if I am wrong, Thx
Thnks by advance
