white smoke

I have a 7.3l idi, and when you rev it up past 2000 rpm it starts to billow white smoke and backfire. when i say backfire i mean it sounds like unburnt fuel is going into the headers and burning in there. The injectors were just replaced a year ago and have only a few thousand miles on them. I need to figure out whats wrong with this i need it running soon. thanks for the help

no water in fuel light? did you drain the bowl to take a look anyway?

I replaced the fuel filter and also tried draining it. I also bleed the lines of any air.

thats what i figured. il only be able to come up with enough cash to do either injectors or Ip i just need help to see if theres any way for sure i can tell if the ip is bad?

You can have it flow benched, but it will cost... best alternative is find a used one and see if it fixes your problem. Before that though, try filling the filter with ATF, run it into the pump and let it sit for a day or overnight.
