Have not installed mine yet as I am in the painting process of a frame off restoration. I ordered in the spring and am very impressed with the harness I received. I worked with Jim and he built harness according to all my specifications with Ford connectors. All wires are labeled with detailed instructions included. Well worth the price compared to others.
How were the lengths? I think having all the end connections already done as part of the complete harness is much better than some other manufactures. Truly plug and play....
I put one in my 75 bronco and it was great. Had enough lenth for the fuel and such, the connections were perfect and very well made. My bronco harness was about 6 bills so the 450 for this one will not hurt as bad. Go for it you wont regret buying it. I am ordering mine here in the next month or so.
I've installed a couple of them. Couple points to remember. It does not come with a resistor wire and you must use the ballast resistor provided. Instructions are sketchy, but doable. Ignition switch provided sucks, purchase the adapter to use stock switch. Overall, good harness.
There was plenty of wire provided. Yes, it did not come with the resister wire so I just my old one and I also had to use my old door jamb connectors. Just keep your old harness just in case you need something. Also, if you have warning lights vs gauges and want gauges, now would be a good time. I scrapped the ammeter stuff and just put in a voltmeter gauge and I also just went with a one wire alternator. But as mentioned, just tell Jim at centech what you are doing. He will also ask those questions too.
