Regen Alot lately

Truck is going into Regen (according to the CTS) just about every trip now. Every trip would be to the campground and back home. Which is pretty much all we do with the truck, Maybe some around the town stuff but 96% is towing. Exhaust pipes are good and coolant level is normal.

Is this normal?

Campgrounds are usually 60 to 70 miles from home and we weekend camp usually.

Actually just went and checked the coolant bottle and it was a little low, not much but just out of the cold range level

60 to 70 miles is too much, I would think it should be more like 260, are you towing or does the camper stay at the campground during the week.

I would go take a good run down the highway for 100-200 miles, throw in some additive and let here burn out the soot.

Do you know for sure you are completing the process? I was averaging around 120 miles per regen. If it isn't completing you should get the constant "drive to clean filter" message sooner rather than later.
