It depends on how hot it is out side, how much of a load you are pulling, and city or hwy. I would say I average around 200-210 pulling my 18k # 5er on a hot day pulling hills.

Mine will hit 218 ect and then the fan knocks it down to 210 in like 5 seconds. I've noticed towing hills in the 45mph or below range heats things up alot faster.

What are your oil temps when towing? Ive seen around the same coolant temps and my oil is within 10* of the coolant temps.

When towing my 11,000# 5th, my coolant temp runs around 200 (oil is a constant 11 degrees hotter). The coolant will go as high as 225 while pulling a hill. I suspect that I need to test my fan, since I rarely hear it kick in.

When towing my 6k TT, on the level @ 65mph, the ECT runs 185-192 deg. The EOT traditionally 9-12 deg hotter. Those values jump up when hitting steep hills with a long pull.

If your ECT is running 185-192* pulling 6k TT i would think you have a t/stat that is stuck open because a stock Ford t/stat starts to open at 192.2* and is fully open at 219.2* with a t/stat stuck open you will use more fuel when cold also, order here for about 20$ Tousley Ford Parts Depot

Any ideals on how to testing the Fan. after installing a new rad and doing a flush I pulled my 11k 5er about 40mi. The ect was running 215 t0 220 and the eot was 220 - 228. As i monitored it with my AE. I never heard the fan run wide open as i have in the past.

It's easy if you have AE. Monitor the engine RPM and Fan Speed PID. Use the activation menu to raise your engine RPM to 1200, then activate the fan to 100%. You should see the fan speed go up higher than engine RPM. Then activate fan speed to 0% and it should slow down well below engine RPM.

Are you sure you plugged the fan back in after the work?

Those are pretty good temps. I usually barely start to hear my fan at about 217-219 ect, so you might just be in really good shape. Still, since you've got the AE, might as well use it and test the fan op.

At what temps should I become worried. I have a 600 mi trip comming up and Pulling this kind of load is new to me so I am not sure what to expect. I am so used to hearing the fan and that may be due to stopped up radiator that it seams strange not hearing it kick in often. My AE softwear is messed up right now cause i down loaded the new 9.1 ver and did not know I needed a new Lic num so it may be Monday befor i have it up and going.

Unloaded I hit 210 at rare times durring the summer. Towing 10,000lbs with innovative stree tune, my max so far was a little more than 215 but not 220 at ~70*
