Today I was replacing my multifunction switch (thanks Pete) and broken shift lever (thanks Bill). Pulled the cover off and this was hanging there. Hard to focus on but its on the bottom passenger side of the steering colume. Three wires, blue-yellow and this piece has a black wire to it and a copper contact spring looking piece. Got the shift lever and multifunction switch install but didn't want to put it back together before I asked the experts. I could take the mule apart but thought I would wait. Also, Bill told me about the procedure to take the key cylinder out, does the little phillips head screw driver need to be up in the hole to put it back in or does it just snap back in? Pictures are blurry and the one picture of it hanging on the wire is looking at it from the passenger side with the key hole above it.
Damnit, I wish I knew we had flux capacitors..all these yrs of just pitching my banana peels....
I'll be putting those banana peels to good use now, I found the little slot where the flux capacitor goes. LOL Got it all buttoned up and the new Bill shift lever works good and I have emergency flashers now with the Pete multifunction switch replaced.
