2005 Tranfer Case fluid change HELP
I have a 2005 mountaineer AWD. Owners manual says transfer case holds 1.25 liters but when I was changing the transfer case fluid, I put almost 2 liters in and the fluid never came out the fill plug hole. I got nervous so I stopped and pumped out about .50 liters back into the bottle. Am I suppose to fill up to the fill hole or just put in the 1.25 liters that the manual says? Please help me, this is my wife and kids only ride. Already have rearend whine and transmission jumping very hard only in reverse. Trying to sell an atv of mine to get those repairs done. Really don't need the transfer case going out too! Thanks!!!!!!!!!
