Fortny,do you have an OEM oil cap, the aftermarket will be taller, have you taken the EBP senser off and cleaned the tube?,next I would try cleaning the IAT2 senser and the MAP connection to Intake use carb cleaner but not on the Electrical side oh and ware your safety glasses that stuff burns like
Getting OEM everything tomorrow. Cleaned EBP, IAT2 and EBP tube last night.
If it turns out to be just the fuel pump, I will be pulling the "easy" stuff off the engine this weekend for a thorough cleaning and checkup. I have $400 in a AE, without any baseline data for trouble shooting on my truck. Fuel pressure, boost, and EOT gauges are for next week.
Hoping air test on the hpo system goes well. In there, so now would be the time to check. If something is bad, gauges may have to wait.
Thanks to everyone for their ideas and time.
it turns out the loom for the CPS and CKS has a short. I have a Vegistroke(diesel only in the tank for the last year) that runs the truck just fine. i get to watch CPS/CKS sync come and go on my A.E.
thanks for all the help. can't beat actually running it to do diagnostics.
