My rear wiper is malfunctioning, it spins around with no resistance and sits askew, and since I've only used it 4 or 5 times in 13 years I don't really care if it ever works again. While charging my dead battery I heard a clicking sound from the power distribution box. I discovered that the wiper relays were the culprits, happily clicking away in unison. I've pulled them and I'm considering leaving them out.
So the question is, can I leave the rear wiper relays out with no repercussions? My gut feeling is no wiper, no relay, no,problem.
Thanks for your replies.

It's always the simple answers. I couldn't figure out why the relays would sit there and click. Perhaps if I turn off the wiper switch!
Yes, the wiper switch was in the on position and that's why the relays were trying to, well, "relay". Not going to reinstall the relays so I don't have a battery run down again.
