Cold start issue

Well looks like another issue after getting the icp replaced and 3 injectors over the last 3 weeks. Now having issues while starting with the engine cold. A few days ago went to start up the truck (see sig) and nothing. Just cranks over and would try to fire once in a while. Tested the FICM: 24v while buzz test, when test finished (about 4 secs) jumped to 48v. Cranking 48v and it started on its own while testing. Had 48v while running. This morning again no start while cold. Going to test the ficm when I get home but I believe its going to have to be pulled. Will send it to Ed at ficmrepair.com. Should the voltage be at 48v even on the buzz test?

The FICM voltage should stay at 48 volts at all times from KOEO, cranking, idling, WOT and anytime in between. Minimum spec is 45 volts, if it ever drops below that its time to send it out to Ed at FICMrepair.com.

Yes if it's dropping below 45 volts at anytime it needs to be repaired. 24 volts is pretty low, I would get it fixed ASAP before you ruin your new injectors.

Ok. That is what I thought. Will call ed @ ficmrepair.com when I get home tonight. thanks for the confirmation everyone. Will send reps. Also will repost to this after the repair has been made.

Tested the ficm tonight. koeo 17v, cranking bouncing 24-48v. Running (actually started) 17v. Contacted ed @ ficmrepair.com via email. He is already closed for the night.
