Fuel Mileage -- been doing it wrong

I was searching for a 7.3 powered vehicle and was wondering about Excursions in the area. A quick search found several 6.8L close by, all which appear to get LOTS better fuel mileage than anyone on the Excursion forum has claimed.

This one allegedly gets 23 city, 32 highway.

AutoFinder.com - Used 2000 Ford Excursion Limited in SANFORD, FL (32771)

For that, I'll trade trucks in half a heartbeat!

32 is no problem..... when coasting. I'm sure they inspected the truck with the same care and attention to detail that they wrote the ad with.

Engine Off Coasting?? These people are crazy. Endangering their lives for a few mpg's......stupid.

Its funny, in my area I usually see all the rice burners and Prius owners going 90+ on the freeway and rocketing away from intersections. And its the regular people too, not just the tuner geeks.

Those are the same people that believe that driving their Prius is actually "good" for the environment. Not sure how that math works either
