Starting a miss at hot idle

I have just shy of 250k on my 2000 and as far as i know stock injectors. Ive developed a slight miss when the trucks been ran for a long time, just enough to notice the truck short of shake a little. Is this a sign of the injectors starting to go? Truck starts great in all weather and still gets good MPG, runs good to.

Stinky was running good and two injectors up and failed back-to-back at about 235K. I'd say it can't hurt to start saving up for a set. You might be able to postpone the replacement by redoing the injector O-rings and copper washers, but that's only if you can find a local shop or somebody with a scan tool... and the sticks pass a cold "Buzz" test.

I think i will run the buzz test with a buddys scan tool and see what it comes up with. I know sooner or later i will need them so i might as well start saving. Also do you do your injector cups at the same time or isnt it necessary?

Ugh.... You said a four-letter word: Cups. I did those when I had a damaged one. You can find the thread "Stinky's Stick-Up" and see how involved that is. It's one of those things that if you really take your time to do it right, it's not an ordeal. I am scheduled to help a fellow member on June 1... with his 4th or 5th attempt at getting the cups to finally seal.
