Hey guys, in about a week or two I'm planning on pulling the engine for a rebuild/performance build. My goal is 500-600 rwhp; 600 may be optimistic for what I'm looking to do but hopefully 500+. I'm looking for advice/opinions/sources for parts and procedures.
I'm staying with my 238cc hybrids, so I'll need to center my max numbers around that. Aside from a general rebuild kit, my preliminary list of performance parts include headstuds, stiffer valve springs, stronger push rods, a HPOP, and turbo, among what I already have installed. Maybe a camshaft? Maybe o-ring or fire-ring the heads/block?
I would especially like info on which turbo and hpop you guys think will work best. Ive seen several choices for each and need opinions!
Also, if anyone knows of a good shop to get the machine work done around southeastern Wisconsin I'd like to hear about it.

Thanks in advance
Your gonna need something like an s400 series turbo, or h2e. E-fuel will be a must. Dual superduty pumps, or a bosch 044. Upgraded clutch or built auto. Good intake , and exhuast. Really need custom tuning, live is the best. With hybrids you won't necessarily need a larger HPOP, if your stocker is healthy, but it really can only help. This should get yall around 500hp.
Cams aren't necessarily needed, but they will increase the usable powerband.

600hp takes a bit more.
Alright to answer a few questions and give some more information. I have an intake, 4" exhaust (maybe increase to 5"?), and custom php tuning. I will have to reburn the chip with some new tunes for this build; live tuning would be great but not in the plans right now. I have electric fuel with a superduty pump so then I may need to add a second pump or look into that bosch 044 you mention. Are stock size fuel lines adequate?
The E4OD is going to BTS next week for a build
As far as HPOP right now its a stock 15 degree piece and I'm sure it's got some wear and miles on it. I was thinking Stealth SRP1.1 or Terminator T-500 or T-1000. My hybrid injectors were based off of AC code injectors if that makes any difference.
For a turbo I had a modded H2E or a S468 in mind. It seems the S300 and S400 series turbos have gotten popular the last few years and I'm leaning that direction. I'm no expert in deciphering turbo specs though so if someone could fill me in that would be great
Also I had a shop tell me I should do some port work on the heads and balance the crank, and maybe a fancy crankshaft balancer. Should this be done?
I would like to hear more also, this time with someone else's money. LOL
Hey is that the Swamps high voltage, high frequency IDM you got there is your sig? Just curious if you like it and if you noticed a difference with it?
