I couldn't decide either, ended up with a bench seat and a removable center console, kind of the best of both worlds (?)

Do you remember the Datsun truck of the early to mid 70's??? They had a bench with a notch cut our for the shifter, I've been wondering what the width is on those old seats?

I have a bench seat from a Nisson pu upstairs in the loft. It is 50 inches wide has the center notch for the shifter and built in headrests. I have kept it because it has a nice thin back so it fits well in small cabs such as the 48 to 51's.
