Converting bench seat to split

I hope I have the right forum. A friend has a 2002 F-150 XL that has a bench seat in it. He desperately wants to put a split seat (two captain chairs with a console in the middle) in the truck instead of having a bench seat. Can this be done and where can he get the right seat to fit his truck?

Best place would be to try the junkyards. The holes for the inside tracks should be predrilled.

Dont be surprised how much a junkyard wants for their seats. You can also try an internet search for OEM or equilivent seat replacements. One example: Corbeau Seats. Quite a few out there. Was looking to replace my bench and it was 200 more for a new one versus a used one from a wrecked truck. Of course they make brackets for pretty much anything but that will also cost another $75 - $100 bucks.
