79 f150 4x4 driveshaft issues HELP!

I just swapped my 203 for a 205 (400,c6, longbed 79 f150) and the driveshaft needs to be lengthened it comes to 69 3/4 inches, is that to long or okay, it's a dd and offroad rig, I need a reply ASAP

Call your local driveline shop and tell 'em your situation.

I would think that that set up (205/400,c6, longbed 79 f150) is pretty common and a OEM d/s could be located in a JY easy enough??
