Question 78 79 u joint and yoke sizes?

I have a 78 NP205 t case and some 79 shafts and I want to know if they will fit.

I know the u joint sizes change between the 2 years for some reason, but would the 78 yoke still work with the 79 u joint and shafts, saftly???????

Thanks for any comments,
Matt

Yoke must match the u-joint, or you can buy convertion u-joints to correct the difference. Get 79 yokes to use with 79 shafts would be the best option.
