Yes it is. That is the original color, not my first choice but its growing on me.
Both of my crewcabs are orginal wimbledon white and plans on putting them back that way when I decide to restore them. I love that color. Yours looks awesome.
Thanks. I'll put together a proper build thread as soon as its done and I'm home long enough to do it. Hard to build one when your home a day and a half a week but its getting there.
I hear ya about craigslist. Those yahoos outlawed the mass search programs and sites that made searching multiple areas easier. Since then I have kind of given up unless I am really bored.
Congrats on the nice find.
This is the site I like to use for mass searching craigslist.
Decided to throw a radio delete bezel int he dash since the a/c isn't hooked up yet and I haven't bought the radio either. Now that its in there its growing on me and I'm thinking of putting an a/c vent in it and just using it. I have a new DC bezel with the vent, I bought it just for this project but now it may just go into my inventory. Thoughts?
This is the one I installed in my other '78. I like that it looks original-ish especially when it's off. Planned on doing the same in the crew but now?
The stereo also has iPod controls so I mounted one of my old iPhones in the glove box. I rarely ever listen to just radio so I thought about installing a hidden unit and doing the same with another iPhone.
Come a long way since May when I first started talking to the PO about buying it but still a ways to go. De-smog the engine, replace t-case seals, headliner, hook up A/C and cruise, paint everything underneath, lift kit, and a few little odds and ends should just about wrap it up.
