window regulator motors...

Will the window regulator motor from the drivers side door of an 82 f150...

Fit in a 92 f250?

My 82 is down... and will remain down until i find a 4bt on the cheap to stuff in her mouth...

My buddies f250 just lost the ds window motor...
Tested switch... good +- 12v depending on switch direction... motor coil reads wide open.

If mine will fit then problem solved...

Anybody?

I am going to guess and say it will. I have a motor in my '91 that is out of an '85 Crown Vic, so there is quite a bit of crossover.

I knew about the bushing things... i had already replaced them in both motors on my 82.
And still have a spare gar somewhere...

Tested the motor itself.
Motor is bad.

Can i use the motor from my 82 on the 92? Same door... drivers side...
What would the difference be in fittment?

Check with auto zone or one of the other parts houses and see if the part numbers are the same.

I'm sure autozone knows so much more than FORD, about what FORD put into these trucks........

I'm so sorry. Guess I should be more careful reading the posts. I hope I haven't caused any problems here. I do appreciate all the good knowledge here, as I have used a lot of it myself.
