That might be why they put a drop in bedliner in the truck, totally hide that mess. The ones I had always went in a nearly new bed, so when I'd take them out years later to repaint or whatever, they had scuffed the paint some but never had a rust problem from them.

I was really considering Line X. Simply for the UV protection the premium liner has. However I saw that Als liner has UV protection too. The quote to do my whole truck was around $3500.00 for Line X. Als Liner is under $700.00 with the spray gun and the sanding cup. Plus it's tintable too.

Tractor Supply has a "rubberized grit" coating that comes in a gallon can for $50. Looks good enough for a protective bed coating after the bed gets sealed properly. I plan on finding a better bed eventually and will get something better down the road.
