Auto or Manual trans harness.

I think it was OldWoodsDiesel that was asking if you could just use the auto wiring harness ahen converting to manual... That's what I did. I had problems with getting the manual harness to work. I did have to cut the plug for the manual trans reverse light switch off from the manual harness. I traced the wires and figured out which ones went to the park/neutral switch for starting... and which ones were for the reverse lights. This is a pic of the plug for the auto trans selector switch.



Don't know what the other 2 wires are for. I just terminated them.

You need to PM Bill (Rebilld). I believe he modified a manual harness for my auto to manual swap. I haven't tried cruise yet, but everything works as it should including reverse lights. I'm still running auto PCM as well.
