Wow I'm almost embarrassed to post this, some sweet rides you all have/had. Mine was an 84 Buick Station Wagon. 307 4bbl with 3 beautiful shades of color.....burgundy, woody package and rust gave $400 in 2001, threw a couple rods and scrapped it in 2002.
First car was a 1962 Pontiac Catalina 4dr sedan.
Cameo Ivory.
389 cu. in. 2 bbl carb. Automatic transmission aka/ "Slim Jim" trans.
Dad bought this car new. Paid $2680 for it, on the road.
Looked just like this:
First new car was a 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger. Dk bronze w/ black vinyl top
225 cu. in. "Slant Six". Auto. (A904). Put a 727 TorqueFlte trans from a taxicab into it.
I paid $3,250 for it.
Ran the dog 'stuff' out of that car. I put 95,000+ miles on it, in less than 3 years.
