Yep, Top Gun Raceway is about 70 miles one way from my house. But it's worth it to be able to get in & watch the races for free & yet get paid for it at the same time. I beleive Top Gun is a NHRA sanctioned track. Could be IHRA though. They re-opened a new division this year... Deisels! So we're hoping that more deisels will come out to play this year.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

I guess next time I will just call when I order from DC.
I ordered my sending unit on Monday before 10am EST through their web site.
It still will not be here until next week.
I usually get things in 3-4 days from the east coast.
Anyone know if they are always this slow sending stuff out?

Karl's home sick today with a 101 fever & a sore throat. Just freaken' lovely!
Greg - yes, you did see a firebird & cougar in the lineup. I think there was a barracuda somewhere in there too!

Karls fever broke lastnight, so he's feeling much better today. He still has his his sore throat, but thats what he gets for kissing his sick girlfreind. LOL! Oh well, kids... they have to learn the hard way I guess.

Happy Saturday gang! I have been taking it easy. I had cataract surgery on my left eye on Tuesday and so I am trying to do everything to protect that eye til it's healed. I don't know how long that takes.
But it seems to be working ok so far.

well, it happened. Someone hit my truck today.
I had pulled out from a parking spot at Walmart, and put it in 2nd to leave.
From the drivers window I see a large 4x4 Toyota Tundra(only about 2 years old) heading right at my door.
I yell at them because I don't have a horn button.
The plowed right into the truck, hitting it in the corner of the cab behind the drivers door.
They pull back into their space and I turn the truck off.
I see that their bumper and fender are pushed in about 4 inches or so.
I climb out and cringe a bit as I turn to look at my truck.
I have a 'ding' (smaller than a dime) and paint scrape.
Man, I love these old trucks!
If I have been in the wife's Santa Fe, it would be in the body shop having to have major repairs.
