It's been about a year since I posted last, and what a year it's been. Finally moved out of an apartment and into a house in Sparks. Has a three car garage, but the single car side is now taken over by my personal living room/man cave. I've been staring at my Ford sitting beside the house for a while and now have gotten motivated to get it back on the road. Actually, I was mostly forced since the wife wasn't too excited about me picking up a project sailboat when I have a project Ford already there. So needless to say the wheels are turning and the parts are coming. Currently the third member is at Bayshore getting put back together after I realized I was over my head on it. Once I get that and a transfer case installed it'll be back to Bayshore for a driveline. Then it's going to be engine work and safety upgrades (My Dad towed it from Wyoming with the parking brake set). So by the end of this summer I'll be leaving the Toyota at home and driving to work in the Ford.
Thats my update for the moment, and hopefully everyone has a great weekend!
LOL!... OK, I'll see what I can do.
Maybe I can do an Indian rain dance or something to where it's warm & sunny, yet rains slightly to cool things off. LOL!
That would be one heck of a rain dance! Sure hope you can pull it off.
Found out yesterday that our minions still have school until the 13th of June. I guess each state is different on school schedules. In any case, that means a little less than 2 weeks of peace and quiet. Going to have to make the best of it. Of course, no kids allowed in this complex, and the apartment I have my eye on only has one 5 year old resident. So I may get lucky. Then again, that complex is right across the street from a middle school. So maybe my quiet days are over for good. LOL
