I pulled the EGR valve and it has some moist soot but not much. I can tell the color of the o-rings and can see the shinny metal of the valve itself. The coolant bottle is spitting some coolant where the small hose attaches to the front of the bottle.
This is the second motor as the first one was replaced with a used one having 10k less then the original one. The original one had the delete kit which had the plugs in the end and i asked the ford meck to put that cooler on the replacement motor but how can i tell if he did. The motor swap was in Aug 2011. I have some live data if someone can tell me how to post it.Thanks for the help, Levi

Will AE send command the EGR valve? If so you could monitor IAT2 and command the EGR open and see if the temp rises a lot and quickly. If so the cooler is open. I guess you could simply graph IAT2, EGR commanded, and EGR actual and drive the truck varying the throttle a lot. You could tell if the cooler is open and see if the EGR valve is operating properly on the same trip.
