Well they see a teenager so they automatically think "delinquent". But the truck even with a full back exhaust has earned the name "child scarer" soooooo it doesn't need to be louder for their sake
I think you nailed it there. Especially in big trucks that they've never seen before in a small town...I think they just pull.over people like me or you to see what we are all about.
My previous car was a 90 Pontiac FWD POS and I poked some holes in the muffler to make it sound meaner than it was, anyways I got pulled over getting on to the highway because it sounded "too loud for the speed limit". It dis zero to sixty in close to 17 seconds, so yep a real speed demon
Same here. The wonderful cops up here pull people over for everything.
That's funny, the cops here (not too far from you) could've cared less when I drove by them in that F250. And that was when it was an open y pipe lol. I think most people and cops just figured it's loud cause it's an old truck. Even now in my daily driver truck with 20% tinted windows all around, no front license plate, and headlight covers I haven't got stopped once... Knock on wood. Around here they just don't really seem to care.
Thanks it took some time to plan it all out, but in the end it looks and sounds amazing.
Today I ended up sideswipping a frickin sign...yeah now Ive got some dents running along the bottom of my door and a scratch down the drivers door as well. I'm not going to fix them though, since I am hoping to be getting new doors for it eventually any way and this is also a "work/daily driver" truck. Im also not very concerned because the dents are pretty small.
Nice looking truck you got there. I love glass packs and want to put them on my truck....my wife is not sold on the idea, however. I have the kids on my side though...we shall see who wins this battle...
Keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration!
No problem at all that's why both myself and everyone else on here post up our rigs and what we do to them.
I also agree that glasspacks are awesome. My mom wasn't overly keen on the idea of putting them on because she thinks they make the truck sound too "badass"...oh well I put them on anyway and couldnt be happier!
