I'm opening up my 78's pedal assembly tomorrow to change my pedal system over accept the pedal assembly from a 89. long story. You may have to do the same thing I need to do, remove the dash. Once that's out of the way anything is possible, with a little bit of fabrication. When changing between generations theres usually fabrication involved. Clutch and brake pedals are quite often mounted on the same hangar bracket and theres usually an alignment problem involving the mc and clutch linkage length. Hard to explain without pics, If I remember, I'll take pics and put them in my garage
