ABS question
soon as I looked at it. I checked with the scanner and got the code C1145
C1145 Wheel speed sensor RF input circuit failure
What would be a cause of an intermittent C1145? I think this is the 2nd time
in 6 Mo. But can't be sure on that outer than I have had it come on before.
Could it be as simple as a wet/dirty plug? Or am I going to be doing something
with the unit bearing?
Thanks
Sean

Only thing I would add is Loose connection somewhere
The tone ring is Part the Axel Shaft isnt it I cant remeber been awhile since I had apart
it looks like bad connection is where I start because it's intermittent.
At least I don't have to deal with the tone ring like on a 2X4.
Anyway I'll unplug it and use some contact cleaner on the plugs, put
a dab of dielectric grease and call it good. Hope that is a fix.
Thanks Benny

P.S. Next time I am in Twin Falls I have to see if I can take a side trip and say HELLO.
Mom's family is in Kimberly and Dad's was in Jerome.
Everyone seems to now be in and around Twin Falls now.
I try for ever other year when I can. and I am do this next summer.

corrosion or fuzz on one of the pins. Cleaned it out and
added some dielectric grease and remounted the plug
to the splash guard because it had fallen off also.
Now I will have to wait and see if it comes back.
