The color is alright. Wife and daughter love purple. As for the grille, I like it when someone thinks outside the box. At least it was done with a little taste.
Sorry, my statement was kinda harsh. It was not directed at you. Just not my kinda grill or color.
I didn't take it that way. For this I welcome all feedback, good, bad or that blows. It's all good.
I do like it when people are creative with taste (Not everyone's) It looks better than hanging a screen door where the grille is suppose to be. I've seen what looked like screen doors on the front, they were put there to keep bugs and other debris out of the radiator. So nothing surprises me.
Painted over chrome bumper etc. Looks like Hell to me. The grille & all painted chrome, I guess fits all into a bagged low rider. But it is someones dream machine with their money and ideas so that's OK. Just not for me. ...orich
It would go well with some 14" chrome wire spoke wheels, white wall tires, and hydraulics...and of course it will need about 2000W of stereo with a bed full of woofers.
I kinda like the grille itself. With the horizontal bars and the four somewhat vertical bars it still follows the style of the original grille. The "V8" reminds me of the '50's F-series grilles. What I don't get is why they painted the headlight bezels and the bumper.
