Just as the others said... I know that it will not give full power until it is warmed up but for my own peace of mind... I wait until the temp needle hits the bottom line of the NORMAL section then I switch up to 80E.
Same here. Stock for warm-up & starting; 80E most other times, 60E when on highway/interstate.
The only time i use stock is when i feel i am under appreciating what i really have.
It is a nice reminder every once in a long while. As far as noise in the different settings, i never really noticed.
At around 80,000, or more on my DP,(120,000 installed) I'm another one that listened to Jody and the guys here and let my truck get up to more than half temp before switching to my 80E, my favorite setting. At 202,000, all by me, I must be doing something right. But as they say, to each there own..
80E 99% of the time for me. Idle in 80e is the same as stock. I have 9 tunes and barely ever use the others. I like knowing they are there and occasionally will use them but 80E gets most of the attention.
