anyone have a smog pump bracket?

my neighbor who is retired from ford, told me the goverment now passed a ruling
that if a vehicle is over 30 years old it no longer has to pass smog. he said something about going to the dmv and getting a antique plate and then you no longer have to smog. i haven't tried it yet because my truck isn't finished yet. ck out your local dmv first. you may not need that bracket. if you do get back to me and i'll see if he has one. he has lots of parts.

1976 and newer vehicles have to pass a smog test in CA in order to be reqistered. All the original emissions related parts have to be installed and in working order.
There is no waiver if the parts are obsolete. It's fix it...or park it!
