2004 Ford Ranger

Just for curiousity. Is there anybody with some 411 on the models, and options for 04? I dont need or (refrase) cant really afford to buy another truck, but just want to find out more about models coming in the future.

Having trouble finding info on the 04 Ranger in search engines.

Don't have any brochures yet, but it looks like they'll all have the hood/ grille of the Edge, and the big new option is leather upholstery (not vinyl, LEATHER).

A long, long time I'm afraid. In fact, from what I've heard, there are no plans in the works right now for ANY major re-design on the Ranger. Ford's trying to cut costs wherever they can, and they seem pretty happy with the way the Ranger is currently selling. That sounds like marketing suicide to me, but what do I know- I only talk to the buying public all day long. It's the marketing gurus that lock themselves up in their offices that make these important decisions. Corporate America in the 21st Century: scary, absolutely scary........

That's what I figured. It's good for those of us with Rangers already...means our resale value will hold longer. But it's bad for the people in the market for a new small truck two years from now. Ford will be far behind in that game.....
