FX4 no more?

FX4 no more?
First off, I owned 3 Rangers before getting the F150 I now have and loved all 3 of them. My favoirte of the three was my 04 FX4. I would get another Ranger FX4 if the deal is right in a heartbeat.
So it makes me sad to see that when I went to the build-a-ford website, the FX4 is no longer an option and the SPORT model is the top of the line. What gives?? Also, I can get a F150 for the same price as a new Ranger and this includes dealing with invoice pricing, A-X plan, rebates, etc.. Does Ford not want to sell these any more?
I cant help but notice that 99% of the posts on here are about fixing exsisting Rangers, and no one has posted about buyin a new one. Sad to me. Long live the Ranger!!!

I think the marketing dweebs at Ford are on the Toyota payroll. It's incredible how little they push the Ranger. I own a 2004 FX4, so I agree with your sense of loss. I guess I'll have to take extra good care of this one because it looks like I'm unlikely to obtain an equal replacement.
