fuel filter change?

fuel filter change?
Hey everyonei was wwonderin . If any of you have herd or have done this...change your fuel filter and filled the filter bowl up with diesel kleen before putting the top back on to clean the injectionsystem up on startup? Thanks for reading

The shop kinda did that to thaw out my fuel a few months back. PUlled th filter and dropped in a bottle of BG something or another. Then fired it up.

I drain my fuel bowl in to an old/near empty DK bottle and use that to refill the fuel bowl. After key-on, I let the pump run for 20 seconds before cranking to help build up pressure.

I always fill my fuel bowl with an additive when changing the filter. I am still on the original injectors at 243,000 miles so I would say it isn't hurting anything.
