I installed a 55 gal. aux tank with a gravity feed setup on the truck the other day so I'm not having to fill up 2-3x per day, how often should the filter on that be changed? Same interval as the one under the hood?
I figure since you will be consuming fuel at the same rate you always have, there's no reason to increase the filter change interval on the 55 gallon drum.
It all depends on what kind of filter you are using. Obviously you're not using a Powerstroke filter housing and filters, so there's a difference in filters.

Is it a spin-on?
What is the micron rating?
Is dirty fuel common in your area?
You don't give us much info to go on......

sorry, it's a universal fit 5/16" 10 micron filter with barbed ends to just go in the supply hose from the aux. tank to the main tank on the truck. Fuel around here is generally clean.
Out of curiosity, why would you need one that fine? You've got the main fuel filter on top of your motor to do the job it's supposed to. It would seem to me that all you really need is a mesh filter to trap any junk from transfer.

I was just going by the sticker on the tank from the manufacturer that says "minimum 10 micro filter recommended"
If the bed in the tank is metal, I'd consider switching to a filter set up that will also catch water from the condensation. Otherwise, I'd just stick something like a 100 micron filter on there to catch the big stuff. If you stick with 10 micron, I'd figure changing it every 15k to be on the safe side.

What brand safes and can you get a discount?
I work for Corporate Safe they're all small petty cash type safes and usually aren't any good if they have to be removed, as far as a discount, I don't think I'd be able to get one. If you're interested in getting a safe PM me and I'll let you know what locks, bolt configurations, brands, etc. to look for or stay away from.

I would think that would be ok (15k interval) just don't use a filter that is too fine or it will put a strain on the fuel pump.
Curious as to what you use your truck for in needing to fill up 2-3 timer per day??
