EBPV deleted, question

I just installed a new EBPV delete pedestal and outlet housing. I'm sure my EBP tube is clogged cause my EBP is staying around 53. Now that I don't have a EBPV anymore do I still need to clean the tube? Does it actually serve any purpose now other than to throw a soft code?

It affects a few other things, some have had mileage issues, I've seen shifting differences with them not up to par.

I've got a ZF6 so I won't see shifting issues but I'll clean it out anyway. If nothing else at least it'll stop throwing a soft code.
