Good job Mike. What's next? You do have that truck looking good. I know your proud. It's a dirty tough job, time consuming and at times dangerous but the end results are well worth it. Many pats on the back Mike.
Mike, I've admired your truck for a while. As much as I like the two-tones on these trucks, a good solid and unique colour on the long box is hard to beat. Thanks for sharing the great pics.
Thanks guys , only have the tail light trim left to polish, then i am DONE polishing .
I got both back rims done yesterday , my 46 year old body is sore .
i tried to improve my polishing by buying some electric tools to do the polishing .
mistake
makita gd0800c lasted a whole 30 minutes with a 2.5 sewn wheel
returned makita and exchanged for a foredom flex shaft porter/polisher lasted about 15 minutes then flex shaft broke sleeve . wtf ?
so back to the air powered to it was .

Hey Mike, you say done like you'll never polish again. Look how shiny your wheels and grille came out. With the right tools in your hands, I'm willing to bet you'll polish again.

I used a Foredom on my grill. Worked fantastic. I've had mine for years. You must have gotten a bad one because mine seems bulletproof.
I'm actually working on the tail light and tailgate trim in the morning... I also have to strip the clear coat off my grill. Like an idiot, after I polished the grill I cleared it so I wouldn't have to polish it again... FYI... don't do that. It hazed over and went from a mirror to a brushed look. Needless to say, I was not happy.

yeah i read up on the clearing and decided against it for that exact reason . I gave my freshly polished stuff a good coat of Meguairs carnuba wax . that should help protect it .
for bringing the shine back check out Blue Magic it is awesome stuff !!!
