Thank you. I wasnt sure how they would look with the kodiak brown but i think they look great. Went with those and 305/70R18 dick cepek fun country tires. After seeing how yours turned out maybe i should have saved the money and tried that first. What color plastidip did you use, i may have to try some on my bumpers or grill if it matches the wheels close enough

It's Charcoal with 2 coats of their Clear Gloss - I am doing my bumpers in white (look at my Photoshop'd Signature Photo) as soon as the PlastiDip gets here. I am thinking about doing the chrome part of the factory steps, Black. When the sun hits the step, it creates a reflection that looks like some kind of Motion Stripe on the white rocker panel and I hate it:
look at where the arrow is pointing... that's just a reflection of the chrome step and the rubber non-slip strips created by the sun!!!
That does leave a weird reflection, let me know how the pastidip holds up on the steps.
Got the tires and wheels on and thought i would share a pic.
That looks GOOOOD! I have been thinking of putting a set of wheels on mine as the clearcoat is coming off and they are a knuckle bustin B^!@* to clean.
While we're on the subject of wheels; when I bought my new truck two weeks ago, I picked from spec sheets the dealer pulled from the search system. I chose a truck that was at another dealer, and they brought it over the next day. I felt really stupid when I then realized that "Chrome clad" aluminum wheels meant- HUB CAPS! I was somewhat disappointed, but didn't put up a fight and took the truck. Oh yeah, they look good, and I'm over it now, but someday I'll have to get new wheels.
On edit: mine look just like yours Jim D, am I right, and is that what you plasti- dipped?

Hoss... that looks GREAT! I love the color and the design of the wheels themselves. My PlastiDip already peeled on both rear wheels - just a little bubble but enough to make me peel it off. I prepped by the book and dip'd by the book. Not sure what went wrong but I'm back to chrome with charcoal center caps!

You are right and worse, they are non-removable hub caps! Read my post to Hoss as to the PlastiDip fiasco...
That sucks Jim, sorry for your trouble with em. I'm kinda old school in that I like shiny rims mostly. The darker ones that are becoming popular do look good on some rigs though. Good luck with your wheels whatever you end up doing.
Jim that's too bad, i was considering doing it to my steps as well but i assume that if the wheels dont hold up the steps wouldn't stand a chance with everything the tires throw at them.
