Got My Wheels Back!!!

Picked up my Wheels from the Polisher today and they really turned out great. I paid less than the cost of one wheel to have all four come back looking like this... the First photo is what they looked like before the polisher...

$140 for all four. I paid 100 for the rims and 140 for the polishing. thats only $40 more than what one new machined (not Polished) Ansen Sprint would have cost. New machined Ansen Sprints are $200 a piece.

Id give one of my kidneys for rims like that and the price you payed. I looked around, even at some wheel shops online. Nearly $1500 for all 4!!

Those wheels are going to set that truck off nicely. Seems like a good price for the polishing. What are you going to run for tires?

Has anyone ever had polished aluminum wheels powder coated with a clear coat? I've considered doing this, but I don't know what the results will look like. The polished diamond plate boxes on my flatbed have some kind of clear coat on them, but I'm not sure what it is. The previous owner just told me they have a clear coat. There are a few runs, so I don't think it's a powder coat. They're nice and shiny and I never have to polish them. I would love to not have to polish the wheels.

I have a set of Cooper Radials, 255/75 R15's they are about 95% tread left. I was talking with my wife last night and asked her opinion about white letters out or blackwall out? Im leaning towards the blackwalls out.

Thanks for all the compliments,,,
A Long time ago when I was a kid one of my Neighbors had one of these Ford Pickups with these same Rims on it and since then I have always wanted the same setup. I really lucked out with these rims. I know a guy at a local restraunt that is kind of a motorhead and I told him about the truck. He told me he had a set of rims and when I went and seen them I almost fell over. When he told me what he wanted for them I really almost fell over. I really got lucky with these.

Like you, I am more of a b/w fan.

*EDIT* Just the (ex)tire guy in me coming out.... In a Cooper, they should be either a 235/75R15 or 255/70R15. They don't make a 255/75R15.
