Project, I like your answer better than the wiring one. Lol.
It is raining, but I am going to suit up and go swap TRS from one truck to another. Want to get it fixed.
Funny thing, if the TRS is the only problem, I just scored. I talked the salesman down $2500 from the original dealed on price after they couldn't fix the problem, told him it may need a new tranny. Their mechanic put a brand new valve body in after reading the same codes I did, which makes ZERO sense to me.
NAPA has a TRS in town, if it is bad, are the NAPA ones as good as a factory Ford unit?
Heh. TRS out of my 212K mile 2000 Ex seems to have fixed it. Letting it idle for a while, but it didn't blink like it usually dose after a few seconds.

That's because you don't understand how a bad mechanic thinks. He knew how to change a valve body, they had one in stock, and he once fixed a trans by installing a new valve body. So that means a valve body will fix ANY transmission.
I'm with you, there was NO cause to change the valve body. He would have done more good by rotating the tires.

I would not hesitate to use a NAPA TRS. The NAPA part is probably the same manufacturer as the Ford part.
