I know not to use it because the glow plugs can cause it to ignite in the precombustion chamber and make it go boom.
My glow plugs don't work and coming into the warm season this should not be an issue.
Problem is that I need to use the truck tomorrow and while I can plug it in at home once I am out in the field all day she's going to get cold and I wont have a power source to plug it in.
Can I SAFELY disable the glow plug controller so I can use a little spurt of the boom juice?
Is this a viable option (for now) so I can use the truck and not get stranded somewhere?
all it should take to disable the GP controller is to remove the small wire that triggers the relay - i think its purple. look on top of the GP controller and you'll see whats there
