BigRed's Engine Pull GTG
I the spirit of everyone's love for pics, I'm starting this thread for our accounts of the GTG.
Got the last parts of the project today, picked up 8 fresh glow plugs and the local dealer had them the cheapest. Went to pick them up and they had this flag hanging on the wall. I asked the parts manager how much and he said is it for the project and I said yes. He said take it, it's on us thanks for driving a Ford! Hope the rest of the project goes like this!!!!
Jason should be arriving within the next three hours to get this party started.

Well, I'm sitting in the fire house coming out of my skin wanting to get out and get started. My tunes just arrived from Gearhead so I downloaded them to the Hydra Chip. Super easy! Glad I went with that instead of the TS Chip. Come on tomorrow morning.

The boys, Daisy and I are here! We got in last nite and went up to CT today to pick up my dually's new engine! *big smile*
After breakfast we are gonna tear into it. My kids should have this procedure down by now - maybe I can just watch this time... Daisy doesnt wrench, but she will totally give me a WTF look when I do something stupid!!!
A couple of our veggie friends are coming by and Jim Jam Sammich will be here in time to save our asses on Friday.
Pics!!!! Thank goodness.... I need to charge the GoPro. Im hoping we can do a time-lapse video of this project. THAT should turn out hillarious and may be helpful too!!!

You were in CT and didn't say anything? Mrs Greg and I are disappointed we didn't get to see any of you. I would have made time even if it meant blowing off work.

I honestly have no idea where I was. My GPS girl tells me where to go. The truth is, I just endure any driving I have to do in the NE. Traffic around NYC is legendary for a reason... 
The guy I got this engine from builds F650 super trucks (6 doors, lifted, super-singles, etc). This engine was in an E99 F350 CC 4wd and was rebuilt 40k miles ago. The (rebuilt in 2011) trans, t-case, axles and maybe the King Ranch interior are still available.
Well, Mike will be home here shortly. I might not have told him I found an easier way to pull the engine.

Its still sitting on my desk and I'm sure Clay is going to give me cr@p over it sooner rather than later. I actually meant to email him about the T1000 again and have not gotten around to it.
