So at first I though someone to be screwing with me but I confirmed today, after some fun in the mud with my oldest boy, that my drivers side hub is locking on its own. Aside from that the 4x4 seems to work great! I know some folks on here have a stiff transfer case but mine goes in and out as smooth as butter. Good thing too cause I unexpectedly found myself in a sand pit where the 2x wasnt cutting it.
I would make sure that you still have the little washer that isolates the larger spring from the outer bearing. I can see the spring digging into the **** enough to turn it if the washer was gone.
