Thank you Mike and Travis. I tried to rep both of you but alas, I cannot.

I removed the IPR but not much oil came out of the IPR hole in the housing. I put my finger in there and felt oil though. The resorvoir is full as I topped it of a few hours before I removed the IPR.

What is the black floaties in the fuel filter housing? I don't see how the Orings from the IPR would get in there.

Probably injector orings in the filter housing Sam. Sounds like they may be going bad on you too.

You could have blown an oring on an injector and not have an ipr problem. That would stop you from making enough pressure to start.

Is there oil in the fuel? Is the crankcase full? If it was bleeding off that much high pressure oil, it would have to be losing quite a bit of oil and the fuel in the fuel bowl would look like black oil.

I bet you do. I don't remember Sam saying the fuel in the bowl was real oily, have to see what he says.

The fuel is clean. It has tiny black particles in it.

I cleaned the IPR and my buddy that works at ford picked up the oring kit for me.

I have no idea where all the oil in the valley is coming from. The valve cover gaskets are not leaking. There is a tube on the drivers side head under the turbo that is wet so perhaps thats the culprit. I remember somone changing some seals on plugs but I don't recall where the plugs are. Everthing I see is dry.

I made an incredible mistake. I poked my finger into the turbo outlet and it came out black and oily. I want a new larger turbo, but I don't have the extra funds right now. So it looks like injectors, turbo and IC will be done before summer. Right now I just need it to run again.....LOL

Hopefully the ipr cleaning does it for now then. I've heard some success and some non-success stories on cleaning it working, I hope it does for you.

I hope so too. Otherwise I will have to take it all apart again as I am too lazy to try to squeeze my BIG hands into that small area.

I cleaned the fuel bowl all out too. I drain it twice a year but I have never completly cleaned it out.

I ordered new turbo boots from Clay as I still have the original Orange boots. He said the turbo is probably fine as the CCV makes a mess of the turbo, so that made me happy. The D66 will be ordered and Stage 2's for sure. I have the bug again to make the truck more powerful.

Yeah Sam, just check end play on the turbo. The CCV makes a big mess of oil in the turbo and boots. You might think about doing a CCV mod to eliminate that issue. The ccv mod is cheap and easy to get done too.
